“ The steak was alright, but not amazing. It was a bit chewy. The sauce helped. The portion was good. Overall, just an average experience. ”
“ I first came to Buenos Aires after moving back to NYC after years away. My experience then - and now the many (many) times following - have what I consider to be the essentials of a truly great restaurant! Food - that's why you're here. The Steak (and empanadas and everything else I've had here) is top notch. My favorite is the skirt steak - juicy, tender, flavorful and substantial (literally nearly overflowing the edges of the plate) and cooked perfectly - EVERY time! The consistency of their food is remarkable! Service - from the moment I walked in, I was treated like family. Truly. Incredibly attentive and delightful service, without any of the hovering nonsense of so many places these days. Anything I needed was anticipated and I didn't have to ask - in fact this may be the only resto I've been to where I've never had to "look" for the waiter for anything! They just appear magically. Ambience - this is where Buenos Aires really shines. The place is a magnet for so many sophisticated Spanish-speaking people from around the world and locals in the know. The decor is home-grown but elevated soccer memorabilia. There's a liveliness and pulse here that makes you feel like you've come into some exciting secret everyone there is sharing. I've made friends here that I continue to see - how often does that happen at a restaurant? That says a lot about the conviviality, charm and warmth of this place. Go. You'll keep going back, just like I do! Enjoy! ”
“ Amazing authentic Argentinian restaurant. The place has a total homey feel and vibe and the steak there is amazing. My favorite restaurant in the city and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat a good steak. Prices are very reasonable. ”
“ Estuvo todo muy bueno desde el atendimiento hasta los platos. El mesero Patrício fue muy cordial y rápido para atendernos a mi esposa y a mí con todo lo que necesitábamos. La carne estuvo de diez todo muy limpio y rico. ”
“ I love this place! Everything from the food, to the environment is a 10/10. Authentic Argentine food. Patricio is great, he gave us the best advice on what to order. We will definitely be back! ”
“ Every dish was flavorful and hit the spot. The gaucho feast is offered during both brunch and dinner - strongly recommend if you're hungry and looking to try a bit of everything. Service was quick and efficient. Great spot for groups as well. ”
“ Very delicious steak with option to get the Argentinian imported. I loved that they cooked it for me once and since my family wanted it more cooked, the wait staff was happy to do it for me. Loved the service, always happy to help and gave lots of recommendations. Would love to come back! ”
“ I'm really not sure how I've missed out on Buenos Aires for so many years, but this Argentine spot is a great choice if you're in the mood for meat. The restaurant is cozy and covered in all kinds of memorabilia (mostly Messi and other futbol flags/jerseys/more), but we sat outside on a nice night (lovely outdoor shed thingy), and after chatting with our accommodating server, we decided to split a few items between the four of us. We rolled with some empanadas to start (jamon y queso the runaway winner), the shrimp and garlic sauce (excellent for dipping bread), and the Parrillada de Carne mixed grill for three. This is why you're here. It was three different steaks (not that mixed a grill), ribeye, strip, and picanha. 30 oz of meat, all cooked beautifully. The salad (criolla) that comes with it is fine. The accompanying fries are fine. But the meat is grassfed, deliciously tender and juicy beef imported from Argentina. Paired with a bottle of malbec, it's what I want when I'm craving beef. ”
“ We walked in with no reservations around 630 on Saturday and were greeted and seated promptly. No fuss! This was awesome because within a 30 minutes, every table was absolutely packed. Service was absolutely top-notch, and not just attentive but over the top friendly. They treated us like they had known us for years! The inside of the restaurant gives off a very charming, familial steakhouse vibe, with the walls adorned with all sorts of Argentinian memorabilia and icons. It was very comfortable and inviting, feeling more like being invited to eat at your friends, grandparents home. Absolutely awesome! Very clean on the inside and you can tell they have an incredible pride in their establishment. The food was on point - fresh, generous, and perfectly prepared and presented. They are not messing around. I woke up full the next morning! We each had a separate salad, then shrimp in garlic, ravioli and Argentinian ribeye followed by dessert! Had a couple glasses of the sangria as well, which were absolutely rockn' ! Again, such a treat to be treated like family and to have the complement of excellent food as well ! Goooaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllll !!!!!! ”
